The DQ Week recently organized IT Panchayat in the city of nawabs, Lucknow.
Channel partners took the opportunity to interact with the national distributor
representatives present and put forward their grievances and concerns. The
face-to-face interaction of channel partners with distributors gave way to a
heated discussion over several issues that partners are facing.
Initiating the dialogue, partners admitted that DoA is the biggest issue that
needs attention from both the distributors and vendors.
“We have to do the replacement for the customers at our own cost. The issues
are pending for more than three to four months,” said Sandeep Saxena of Guys
Computers.
Replying to the issue, Mayank Srivastava of Redington said that to handle the
DoA cases, Redington has a team that looks after such issues and channel
partners need to escalate the matter in the right direction.
The panel included Vikas Singhal of Sigma IT Superstore, Sanjay Gupta of
Sunshree Computers, Sandeep Saxena of Guys Computers, Ramendra of Ingram Micro
and Mayank Srivastav of Redington. The event was sponsored by Symantec, Emerson,
