Almost 450 channel partner and vendor representatives turned up on a balmy evening in Bengaluru to felicitate the channel partners from South India. The 10th annual The DQ Week awards night was organized in Bengaluru for the first time in association with Association of Information Technology (AIT). The event kick started with Anil Pant of Sify unveiling the company's latest offering-the thin client solution. This was followed by a dazzling evening wherein 56 channel partners from across South India were honored in various categories. Jayessh Mehta, President, AIT through his presentation, gave insight about the various activities of the association to all present. In a first, AIT, the official voice of the channel in Bangalore, also took the opportunity to present The DQ Week with a memento in recognition of bringing the awards to Bengaluru, and for its work in highlighting the concerns of the channel community.

The first ever AIT-The DQ Week Upcoming Entrepreneur of the Year trophy was won by Manish Choudhary of Computer Gadgets and Peripherals. The evening also saw a lucky draw by HT Impex. The awards night was sponsored by Sify, Agile Labs, D-Link, Microworld, Delta Peripherals, Gigabyte, Epson, R&M and HT Impex.
