In an evening that sizzled and sparkled, 39 partners from across the western
region walked home with the crystal trophy, which symbolizes excellence. The
fifth edition of the awards saw partners from all corners of the western region
turn up in large numbers. The awards were decided upon a panel comprising of
Vicky Pathak of Intel India, Dinesh Vazirani of HP, Kiran Morgaonkar of Ingram
Micro and Manish Joshipura from Redington.
That apart, the night also saw participation from some of the biggest names
in the vendor and distributor community from West India, which included Rajesh
Gupta, Director-Sales and Marketing, Intel Technology; Sanjeev Gupta, Regional
Sales Director-APAC, Linksys; Mridul Chauhan, National Sales Manager-Upcountry,
Ingram Micro; Tapas Moitra, GM, Redington India and Paras Shah, MD, Neoteric
Informatique among others. Also making his first public appearance was the newly
appointed Nitin Malhotra, Country Manager, Kingston Technology.
The night started with an opening remark from Ibrahim Ahmad, Group Editor,
The DQ Week. This was followed by a presentation by Sanjeev Soni, Country
Manager India, Amconics International who were the presenting sponsors of the
awards across India. Linksys was the associate sponsor for the award.

Also felicitated at the awards were TAIT, who were adjudged as the Best
Channel association across India for the Second year in a row by a survey
carried out by IDC for DQ Channels. To accept the trophy the TAIT team turned up
amidst resounding claps from the present partner community.

Channels, TAIT had triumphed as the Best Channel Association across the
country for the second year in a row, beating 30 associations from 28 cities
across India |
One of the highlights of the evening was a quiz contest, which was enjoyed by
partners to the hilt and many walked home with prizes by Linksys and Amconics.
