Job Profile: Banerjee is currently leading the channel business of Samsung's IT division across eastern India and is responsible for handling the sales of products including monitors, hard drives, optical drives to Samsung Star Partners in the region through national distributors. Banerjee also acts as a bridge between partners and the company headquarters. She is accountable for handling and resolving channel related issues as well as market mapping and planning.

Background: Banerjee hails from the industrial city of Durgapur. She completed her graduation from Calcutta University in Botany and like every young student, she also dreamt of becoming a software developer. But an accident, which she met with while driving during her third-year, forced her to be bedridden for about two consecutive years. Banerjee considers this accident as her turning point. It made her a strong and determined individual. After completing her GNIIT course Banerjee started her career in sales.

Challenges: According to her this industry is a very dynamic one and market trends keeps changing everyday. For Banerjee, maintaining pace with the market is the biggest challenge. She considers successful survival as another big challenge.
Strengths

For Banerjee there's no alternative to hard work and there's no shortcut to success. Banerjee most important strength is her ability to fight against all odds. She is not afraid of failures. For her, failure is the pillar of success. Instead of demoralizing her, the thought of failure makes her more determined and drives her towards success.

Family: She lives with her mother and her younger sister who is working in HSBC. Her father too was in the field of sales and marketing at a renowned steel plant in Durgapur.

Hobbies: Banerjee's hobby is singing and she considers herself a good singer.

Fond of all genres of music, though she has a special fascination for ghazals. Her all-time favorites are Lata Mangeshkar, Jagjit Singh, Mohammad Rafi and the poetry of Gulzar.

Future Plans: Banerjee feels it is too early to predict her future. A firm believer in karma, she prefers to continue to focus on working hard and the rest she has left in the hands of bhagya.
