Digilink launched its latest product Digilink Sliding LIU under its OptiPlus
fiber range. A Light guide Interconnect Unit (LIU) is a fiber distribution box
wherein the fiber backbone cables and the equipment cables are terminated. The
fiber spools provide minimum bending radius and the splice trays function as a
splice cover for pigtail splicing. Together they function as an interfacing unit
for fiber cables coming in from field and those originating from the equipments.
The unit can accommodate up to 24 connections and is suitable for 19-inch
frames. The price of the Digilink OptiPlus Sliding LIU is Rs 7,130.
