Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Seagate announced the launch of an energy-efficient desktop hard drive family that combines storage capacity with power efficiency and performance.

The new line of Seagate Barracuda LP (low power) hard drives has an eco-friendly footprint, which helps organizations to cut out on PC power costs. The new family of desktop drives helps reduce system power costs, runs quieter than traditional drives and operates at lower temperatures, extending the life of system components.
