HCL Infosystems Ltd has launched HCL Beanstalk 2007 collection which includes the HCL Beanstalk Nano a 42mm high, small computing powerhouse, with big functionalities; HCL Beanstalk Lyfestyle features a complete 10-foot wide digital user interface and an entertainment enabler; HCL Beanstalk Dominator is a gaming PC with graphic and processing capabilities; and HCL Beanstalk Slim is an ultra-slim PC with all-in-one capabilities.

HCL Beanstalk range has a host of features as part of standard configurations such as Microsoft Windows Media Center; wireless connectivity; wireless peripherals such as mouse and keyboards; dual layer DVD recorder, and is empowered with cool add-ons such as express recovery tools, pre-installed broadband internet pack and a complete pre-loaded entertainment kit including games, recipes, multi-lingual software packages and more. This new range of PCs from HCL uses Intel's Core 2 Extreme processor and is based on Intel Viiv technology. With Intel Viiv technology-based PCs consumers can connect to the TV, and also create music, play games and showcase home photos and videos.

HCL Beanstalk Nano, at a height of just 42mm and weighing just 1.3kg, is mobile and can be placed horizontally or vertically as per needs. It can be connected to just about anything because it is a single entertainment hub video recorder and player, a media jukebox, a gaming device, a digital album and a complete TV web browser and stereo system. HCL Beanstalk Nano can also be connected to a high definition TV and 5.1 speaker system to create a home theatre environment.

HCL Beanstalk Lyfestyle is a DVD look-alike, with its sleek contours, complete digital display and Altec Lansing stereo speakers. HCL Beanstalk Dominator is a gaming PC with constituents like Nvidia chipsets and graphics, Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor X6800 and a pre-loaded set of compelling games including the multiplayer role playing game Ragnarok. It is equipped with genuine Microsoft Windows XP Media Center HCL Beanstalk Slim works as a DVD player, an MP3 player, game station, FM radio and digital video recorder.
