Eurotech Technologies announced the launch of high-performance USB-telephone
gateway that enables users to make and receive Skype calls by connecting an
analog phone or a cordless telephone to the gateway. In addition, the gateway
can also be used to forward incoming Skype calls to a remote telephone or cell
phone. The gateway switches between regular (PSTN) and Internet calls. The unit
works with any regular or cordless telephone and rings normally for both regular
and Internet calls.
The gateway has superior interface for PSTN lines and comes with indicators
for power, line and USB when they are in use. The USB audio features are
compliant and well suited with USB2.0 full speed operation. The USB gateway
simply plugs in between the telephone network access and the terminal device.
