To further drive mobility in the country, Nokia announced the launch of two entry-level mobile phones in India – Nokia 2310 and 2610. Both handsets come with a unique first time functionality of 'one touch' feature to radio (Nokia 2310) and Internet (Nokia 2610).

The Nokia 2610 is a flagship addition to Nokia's entry portfolio and is targeted at entry-level business-minded consumers. The trendy Nokia 2310 is targeted at music enthusiasts and style conscious individuals.

The Nokia 2610 Offers a host of firsts for entry phones such as e-mail support and mobile Internet access via a WAP browser. The handset supports voice recorder and Nokia Xpress audio messaging, for recording and sending voice messages. It's rubberized finish combats dust and improves grip – a feature especially meant for Indian conditions. Available in three exciting colors, including blue, black and bronze and offers 'offline mode' which enables you to access data without the SIM. The handset comes with a set of unique features such as the 'one touch' key (short-cut key) that activates the built-in FM radio featuring 'sound visualization' and graphics to sync with the music.

The Nokia 2310 comes with a shortcut key to activate FM radio. The sound visualization adds to the overall experience. It has improved navigation with simplified user interface and is Available in two contemporary colors, silver and light blue.
