Samsung launches SCX 6320F MFP laser printer

Wednesday, May 31, 2006

Samsung India announced the launch of SCX-6320F, a multi-function laser printer. Priced at Rs 80,000, this machine delivers duplex printing, along with copy and networking capabilities for the creation and sharing of documents.

The Standard Duplex Automatic Document Feeder in SCX-6320F creates two-side or duplex documents in four-copy formats including 1:1, 2:1, 2:2 with simple one touch buttons. It also comes with the one-touch 40 percent toner save button.

The SCX-6320F has a fast printout speed of 20 pages/min (A4) and a high speed USB 2.0 interface. Its output of 1,200 dpi sharpens the output appearance while the 256-level gray scale color scanner creates images with up to 4,800x4,800 dpi enhanced resolution.

The capabilities of a SCX-6320F can be shared over a network when the optional network kit is installed for easy document management to meet the needs of a small workgroup.

The standard QWERTY keyboard on the SCX-6320F and optional network kit enables instant transferring of scanned images by e-mail.

If the SCX-6320F is networked, the scanned data can be saved directly into folders on the network computers. The G3 Fax with built-in output technology enables sending two-sided documents or printing incoming faxes on both sides at a high rate (about three seconds per page) with a 33.6 kbps modem. The 16MB fax memory of the SCX-6320F can retain up to 1250 pages of documents in the fax memory for secure sending.
