Thursday, April 20, 2006

ATI Technologies Inc introduced X1800 GTO at a suggested retail price of $249. With simultaneous support of high definition rendering (HDR) and anti-aliasing (AA)-functionality, it is targeted at serious gamers.

Featuring ultra-threaded shader architecture and new memory architecture of ATI's Radeon X1800 XT and Radeon X1800 XL GPUs; the Radeon X1800 GTO has 12 pixel shader processors, a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface and operates at 500 MHz core and 1000 MHz memory speeds. It will also ensure an exceptional experience with Microsoft's next-generation operating system, Windows Vista, when it launches later this year.
