JVC's plasma collection unveiled

Monday, January 30, 2006

MCC Marketing has introduced JVC's plasma collection-PD Z42DV4 and PD Z50DX4-in India. Priced at Rs 1.75 lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh respectively, these are available on zero-interest installments at select retail outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta, Chen-nai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahm-edabad, Chandigarh, Amb-ala, Jaipur, Lucknow, Raipur, Patna, Guwahati, Pune and Pondichery.

Digital Image Scaling Technology (DIST) drives the two displays. It that first converts the picture information to progressive signals regardless of the original source - from ordinary analogue broadcasting signals to the latest digital sources such as DVD and the HD1080i (HD1125i) 50Hz/ 60Hz signal. Subsequently, picture information is then interpolated relative to the number of pixels that the display panel has to offer.

The plasma collection also features 'Cinema Surround' that incorporates a newly developed surround audio processor.
