Innoviti, a Bangalore-based tech start-up, has rolled a product to wirelessly connect to the Internet. Called Vaayu, this device is claimed to be the world's first wireless adapter for dial-up modems and is targeted at the growing population of notebook users. Vaayu uses NanoRF and ALE technologies. Also, the device does not need any kind of software installation and is pure plug and play.

Additionally, Vaayu also allows wire-free connectivity to other phone-based equipment like fax machines and credit card swiping devices. The product is currently selling through Bazee.com and is available at an introductory price of Rs 3,800.
