HP unveiled the Compaq Presario V2000 range-mobile digital entertainment range with V2036AP Portable and V2035AP Portable that features a high-definition widescreen display and mobile computing for productivity at home or on-the-go.

The Compaq Presario V2000 notebook has a widescreen with a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 768 and Intel 855 GM chipsets. 3D and 2D graphics played on the V2000 deliver real-life environment and character effects. Using the 6-in-1 digital media reader, the user can quickly move photos, movies and files between the V2000 and compatible PCs, handhelds, MP3 players and cameras. He can also easily connect to these devices. One can link the V2000 to various home entertainment devices like the television and stereo.

It offers a 14.0" widescreen display with a 15:9 aspect ratio and weighs less than 2.36 kg and is 1.29" thin. Presario V2000 is equipped with Intel PRO/Wireless 802.11B WLAN and has extended life battery. It can be combined with peripherals like a digital camera and DVD Writer. The optional xb2000 Expansion Bay from which the Presario V2000 notebook can be docked to create a desktop PC like setting, combines height adjustability, improved cable management and more connectivity to computing peripherals including camera, printer, scanner and handhelds. The laptops are priced at Rs 69,990 and Rs 54,990.
