Chennai: TAKE Solutions, which deals with Supply Chain Management and Life Sciences products, has been conferred the rights to five acres of land at the ELCOT-Navalpattu IT/ITES SEZ Trichy, Tamil Nadu, by the Deputy Chief Minister, MK Stalin. The land allotment letters were awarded at the ELCOT SEZ inauguration ceremony in Trichy.

“With the global economy now slowly emerging from the recessionary phase, we believe this is the right time for expansion,” said Srinivasan HR, Vice Chairman and Vision Holder, TAKE Solutions. “We have continually invested in Tamil Nadu and look forward to creating a world class facility at Trichy,” he further added.

The Tamil Nadu government has been actively developing the Trichy area with intent to provide a boost to business environment. This progressive step with the support of both ELCOT and the state government will help TAKE Solutions in strengthening its business operations.

Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (ELCOT) has planned the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) at seven tier-2 cities across the state. This allocation of land was proposed in agreement with the State Government to provide cost-effective places to the software companies. ELCOT proposes to create a 50,000 sq ft facility of its own in the proposed SEZs in Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Salem and Hosur.
