Mumbai: SunGard is expanding its financial systems operations in India with the appointment of a new MD-Sales, India and the addition of new sales and business development staff in Mumbai.

SunGard has operated in India since 1993. Its global delivery organization in Bengaluru and Pune, SunGard Technology Services, provides domain expertise, product knowledge and specialized technology services to support SunGard's solutions and customers worldwide. The expansion of SunGard's Mumbai office will help SunGard's financial systems business enhance its support and implementation services for its local Indian customer base, which already includes leading institutions in the banking, insurance and energy sectors.
