In continuation with the LG Powerplay scheme, LG has announced the launch of LG Overdrive, a scheme focused on enhancing the profitability of channel partners. LG Overdrive will be valid till July 31, 2008 and applicable to all resellers and system assemblers buying from LG's authorized regional distributors.

Partners can avail rewards on the purchases made under different slabs. Commenting on this new channel scheme, R Manikandan, Business Group Head-Monitors and Optical Drives, LGEIL said, “We take this opportunity to thank channel partners for their overwhelming response to LG Powerplay. LG reciprocates with yet another channel scheme for June and July-Overdrive 2008. We will try our best to extend full support to partners in administration and execution of this scheme through call center and website.”

In addition, the company announced that all the qualifiers of previous scheme- Powerplay ,could get 20 percent additional miles as Loyalty Bonus if they achieve minimum 15 percent growth on the total quantity of monitors or minimum 15 percent growth on the total quantity of ODDs purchased in April-May 2008.
