Baroda Information Technology Association (BITA) has announced the appointment of its new executive committee members for the year 2008-09. The committee has selected by mutual consent of all the members of the association for a period of one year.

Hitesh Patni would continue to serve as the President; Dilip Patel as VP; Paresh Patel as the Treasurer; Paurav Choksi as the Secretary and Nilesh Joshi as Jt Secretary of the association.

Rajeev Patel of Sunpro Incorporate, Jayendra Sheth of Console Computers, Vikram Shah of Baroda Stationary Mart, Piyush Patel of Vinayak Computers, Deepak Doshi of Lantech and Nilesh Vandekar of 3G Media are the newly appointed committee members. Also, Umesh Shukla and Hemendra Doshi are the co-opt members of the association.

Expressing his happiness on the occasion Patni said, “I am delighted to be re-elected as the President of the association. We have made our election process more transparent. All office bearers have been elected with the mutual consent of members of the association. BITA's new office bearers and executive committee has been formed to continue the growth of the association.”
