Nagpur-based Vidarbha Computer and Media Dealer's Welfare Association (VCMDWA)
has announced that it will hold a Summer Compex this year.
VCMDWA since its inception has been holding similar exhibitions for its
members in the city. Traditionally the association has been holding its annual
IT expo-Compex during January. This is the first time that they would be
having the expo during summers.
“After systematic analysis of the very fast and frequently changing IT
trends, technologies, customer preferences and choices, the association decided
to experiment with this concept and has received huge response from member
companies and external agencies,” said Prashant Ugemuge, President, VCMDWA.
Summer Compex is scheduled to be held from June 21-23 at Hotel Center Point,
Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. Visitors from academic and training institutions, student
community, SOHO segment, professionals, home segment, corporates, MNCs, software
companies, BPOs, SMBs, central and state government are expected to attend the
three-day event.
The association is expecting to put up around 50 stalls during the expo. “Like
our annual expo Compex, for the Summer Compex 2008 we envision equally
inquisitive visitors who will come for first-hand information and demonstration
of IT products. The exhibition will demonstrate the latest products in the IT
arena and would be another technology demonstration initiative from VCMDWA,”
said Virendra Patrikar, Secretary, VCMDWA.
