BenQ has announced its foray into the laptop segment in India with a range of sleek, designer Joybooks. The new range will offer three distinct models-S32W, R43 and Q41. BenQ Joybooks aim to provide digital life experience with their UltraVivid technology and true-to-life display.

Sure to make an impression on the corporate women, the S32W model has a silver strip with a diamond-cut logo on the outside to match the artistic POP art pattern, 3D image embedded in the aluminum body and a ripple textured touchpad. The Q41 Joybook model has a 2.5-inch screen on the outer panel that allows users to view photos, play games and listen to music even when the Joybook's lid is closed. The BenQ R43 Joybook comes with a deep black lid and a band with an inscribed laminar film.

Adrian Chang, President-APAC, BenQ said, “India is a key market for us and with our entry into the laptop category with Joybooks, our commitment to add delight to the digital life experience of the users is re-emphasized.”

BenQ's patented UltraVivid technology increases the brightness of the screen by using DBEFTM (display brilliance enhancement film) technology. The Joybooks incorporate Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Windows Vista Premium. In addition, the laptops come with wireless connectivity, built-in Bluetooth, speakers, microphones and one touch back-up process for data security.

Danny Yao, Director-Asia-Pacific, BenQ said, “With the introduction of Joybooks, BenQ aims to carve a niche for itself in the Indian laptop market. Our understanding of the worldwide consumer trends and needs motivates us to innovate and offer products that meet the expectations of the users and add delight to their experience with the brand. 'Joybook' is a category that aims to achieve BenQ's vision of 'bringing enjoyment and quality to life.”

BenQ Joybooks are priced at Rs 30,000 onwards.
