American Power Conversion (APC) announced the appointment of Srinivas Chebbi as its new GM for India. An engineer from Karnataka University, Srinivas Chebbi was the Regional Director for Schneider Electric in Northern Emirates, Dubai and Oman, responsible for over 50 percent of the Gulf States businesses. He was also the Country Manager for Bahrain.

His broad background in Schneider includes positions in enterprise sales, marketing, business development, joint ventures and country management with exposure to both power distribution as well as industrial automation and control lines of business. He brings industry expertise from over eight years of general management, with training in total quality management (TQM); as well as his experience in UPS sales for Bell Electronics in India.
