Nouveau Infotech inaugurated its first retail venture in Kolkata recently. Named Tech-Know, the 590sq ft showroom is located at Forum Mall and displays a wide range of digital products, gadgets and accessories.

Commenting on his new venture, Gaurav Khemka, Director, Nouveau Infotech said, "This showroom has been conceptualized keeping in mind the growing demand for gadgets and laptop accessories. We are the distributors for brands like Saitek and TravelPac and both the product ranges suit the retail model in a perfect manner, and will thus help us to capture a larger marketshare and address a wide segment of the end-users."

Tech-Know will display the entire range of TravelPac and Saitek products. Apart from that, it will display all branded high-end digital products including latest gadgets and electronic devices, laptops, laptop accessories, mobile phones, accessories, PDAs, MP3/MP4 players, etc. "Tech-Know is a retail chain. By this year, we will be opening three more retail showrooms across malls in Kolkata," informed Khemka.

Meanwhile, Nouveau is also planning to increase its product basket, both for retailing as well as distribution. It has become the retail partner with Yamaha for its products like laptop accessories and speaker systems and is also willing to distribute other such products by the company. It has also tied-up with Gear4 to distribute its product range in eastern and southern India. "Talks are on with few more brands, although it will be premature to reveal anything at this point in time," he concluded.
