Rashi Peripherals extended the APC range of products with the 'Smart' range
of UPS in its products portfolio.
Smart UPS is a combination of UPS and an inverter put together in one unit.
As of now if any user wants power backup for PC they select UPS and if power
backup is required for other electric devices they choose inverters. Smart UPS
will be one unit that will give power backup to both PC's and other electric
devices at the same time. This will not only save money but also space and users
will have one company to deal with for all their power back up needs.
APC also plans to do free installations in selected cities for users that
will save them from paying additional amount on installation. Further making
things easier for users, they will also have a choice to select a battery of any
brand that they prefer, except that they will not get warranty on battery from
APC.
Introducing the new line of products, Kapal Pansari, Director - Marketing,
Rashi Peripherals said, "The demand for power hungry devices like TV, PCs,
printers, electrical appliances are increasing but subsequently the power
generation is yet to pick up. This is leading to the users not being able to
make full use of their devices. With APC Smart UPS not only will this demand of
supply for power be fulfilled but also usage of these devices will
increase".
APC Smart UPS will be a solution for the Corporate and SME and home users
looking for an uninterrupted power supply for all their latest gadgets and
devices. Initially four models in the range of 1 -o 5 KVA will be introduced by
Rashi bearing model numbers Smart UPS XL-1000VA, Smart UPS XL-2200VA, Smart UPS
XL-3000VA and Smart UPS-5000VA.
All the models will be available without a standard battery and users can
select and purchase a battery as per their power demand. There will be
accessories like stands/racks available required by users. All APC Smart UPS
will come with an option of APC UXBP48IN70 battery pack for maximum results and
power backup.
The new range of APC Smart UPS will be available through Rashi Peripherals 53
branches throughout India and will come with a warranty of two years on-site by
