In the recently concluded elections of Allahabad Computers Dealer's Welfare Association Siddhartha Sharma from Konarka Computers was elected as the president and Rajan Singh from Aakash Infotech became the vice president of the association while BR Chopra from Technosys and Ashish Arora from Solution Infotech have been elected secretary and joint secretary respectively.

According to the members of the association, the election concluded in a smooth manner and was marked by an enthusiastic participation in the entire process. Two nominations were filed for the post of president. "The elections got over in a smooth manner. All the members actively participated in the election process and that is a good sign for the healthy functioning of any association," shared Manish Mehrotra, member, ACDWA.

The newly elected members also discussed the agenda that they will be working on in their tenure. The primary agenda would be focusing on the issue of margins that often leads to clash among customers. "It happens several times in the market that customers complain to us about different prices that different dealers offer. That way we loose the credibility of the customers. We want to generate a uniform pricing system in the market so that the interest of the customers as well as the dealers is not hurt," commented Siddhartha Sharma, newly elected president of ACDWA.

The next area of concern for ACDWA was giving recognition to the dealers in C class cities around Allahabad who do direct billing from the dealers in the region. The association has agreed to organize a reward program for the dealers in these regions who have a clean balance sheet and account statement. "Our main objective is to acknowledge small dealers for their work and motivate to perform better. We have discussed this issue with our members and very soon we will start practicing it," shared Sharma.

ACDWA is also participating in the forthcoming consumable exhibition 'Consumex' to be held in the first week of April.
