WeP Peripherals has rolled out its high-speed impact printer for business
users from its Mysore facility. Capable of printing 1000 characters per second,
WeP HQ 2100 is Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) compliant and suited
for multi-user networked application necessities printing more pages at lesser
time.
According to S Nagarjuna, senior general manager operations and exports, WeP
Peripherals, "We are expecting rapid growth in this lineup i.e. high speed
impact business at WeP. With this launch, we have strengthened our product
portfolio and are confident that consumers will appreciate it."

Some of the components used in WeP HQ 2100 are presently being imported;
moving forward WeP aspires to manufacture them very soon in Mysore itself.
Highlights of WeP HQ 2100
WeP HQ 2100 is a high-speed dot matrix printer that prints 710 pages per
hour. It has serial and parallel interface with auto-share, 1+8 multipart
capability, 64 KB input buffer, 10 LQ fonts and one-year warranty including
print head. It also matches the BIS quality criteria for throughputs at 24 x 12
character matrix. HQ 2100 is equipped with a zoom function, which quickly and
easily enlarges (up to 1600%) and reduces (down to 66%) the size of the printed
characters. All major types of bar codes can be output with speed and clarity.
The 2-level menu system makes operation simple. HQ 2100 even stores 3 complete
