Tripp Lite announced the launch of the APS PowerVerter DC-to-AC inverter/battery in India. These Alternative Power Supplies (APS) are solutions for backup applications requiring 750 watts (1250 VA) to 3600 watts (6000 VA) of power. "I am very pleased to introduce the PowerVerter APS inverter/charger series to our developing market in India. With five models to choose from, users can enjoy clean, safe, reliable AC output power for a wide range of stationary and mobile applications," said Vipin Sharma, Tripp Lite's VP-Sales, EEMEA and India. Tripp Lite APS PowerVerter DC-to-AC inverter/battery promises more power and given its small footprint, can get maximum power with 3 batteries.

PowerVerter APS inverter/charger also offers automatic line-to-battery transfer and an advanced 3-stage charging system to serve as an extended-run UPS system, a standalone power source or an automotive inverter. The inverter/charger provides AC power to equipment while utility power is available and simultaneously charge an array of user-supplied batteries. When utility power is unavailable during power failures, on the road or at remote job sites, the chargers provide connected equipment with AC power inverted from battery reserves.

Instantaneous peak surge power (up to 200% of rated output) provides the power needed to cold-start heavy-duty equipment. Multi-function indicator lights display operating conditions and diagnostics, such as battery charge and load levels. An optional remote control module allows users to store the charger and batteries in a remote location, while maintaining complete operational control.

Tripp Lite PowerVerter APS inverter/chargers are distributed through Rajdeep Energies in India.
