BANGALORE
APRIL 16, 2007

Samuel J Palmisano, Chairman of the Board and CEO of IBM will be visiting India in the first week of May this year.

Confirming his visit, an IBM spokesperson said that he would be in New Delhi on an official visit.

He would be having internal and external meetings. He is not sure of visiting Bangalore, said spokesperson. Palmisano is also not expected to address the media during his fourth visit to India.

Last year, Palmisano visited India on June 6 to 7 for the financial analyst meet in Bangalore and also he announced a $6 billion investment in the country.
