Data storage solutions provider Sanat Technologies has launched India's first IPSAN product iSTOR series. The product will be available by mid-April for general availability distribution.

iSTOR is an enterprise class IPSAN target product that is scalable and completely standards-compliant. The series is also meant for multiple storage application needs like disaster recovery, backup to a remote location, streaming audio/video traffic. It is fully compliant with the iSCSI standard – IETF RFC 3270 standard specifications and supports multiple authentication methods – CHAP and mutual CHAP – for authenticating the users logging into the target.

iSTOR supports data encryption for the data on the move and complete error recovery level is available. iSTOR is optimized to transfer data over any kind of network.

Sanat has existing suite of rSTOR NAS product models.
