XFX, a graphic card manufacturer, has announced its entry in the motherboard segment with the launch of XFX nForce 680iLT, which is targeted at the extreme users.

The Indian launch coincides with the simultaneous worldwide launch of XFX nForce 680i LT SLI motherboard. Commenting on this, Sunny Narain, VP-sales and marketing, XFX, said "With the introduction of 680i LT we are strengthening our position for extreme users looking for high end graphics applications."

He further added being the first to introduce 680i LT in India, XFX will gain tremendous mileage doubled with a very attractive price point.

The soft launch of the product was held during a recently held XFX Channel meet in Mumbai.

The 680i LT by XFX offers features like DualNet with teaming, firstPacket technology, Nvidia LinkBoost, NV BIOS, TCP/IP Acceleration, Windows Vista Ready, SLI-Ready memory with EPP and nTune utility. XFX 680i LT motherboard is capable of overclocking up to 27 percent more than the ones available in market.

This motherboard is available at a suggested end-user price of Rs 14,000 along with a two years standard warranty and an additional one-year extended warranty on registration from Rashi peripherals.
