Citrix Systems recently organized a partner meet titled "Citrix Partner
Accelerator Program 2007' at Mumbai. The theme of the program was
"Optimize, Accelerate and Deliver" based on Formula One racing.
The program was designed to provide customer-facing representatives with
presentations, role-plays and hands-on learning to illustrate how Citrix and
partner capabilities combine for maximum gross profit. All the participants were
briefed on the following aspects of Citrix:
- Application delivery messaging.
- Virtualization Systems Group and Application Networking Group product details.
- Sales and Technical training on Virtualization Systems Group and Application
Networking Group product lines.
- White board presentation training.
- Customer's perspective and expectations.
"Significant change is taking place in the vendor-partner relationship
with loyalty becoming the key, hence it is essential for vendors to create
innovative and attractive programs for the partners," Souma Das, Area VP,
Citrix India.
The company also created an opportunity to discuss issues that relate to
partner's business, thanks to the "Meet The Experts" sessions - a
solution showcase represented the extensive Citrix product groups and functions
that provide non-product based profitable opportunities.
Overwhelming response was received from partners with over 180 partners
participating in the 1st day's session and over 130 partner staff attending the
second day's sales and technical breakout sessions. The session also awarded
Citrix partners who have contributed to Citrix's success last year.
Das said, "This meet was aimed not only at educating but also creating a
strong coordination and integration between Citrix and their partners to enhance
our customer services. We are proud of our extended team of our staff and
partners and look forward to continued value addition for our customers in 2007
