Emerson has announced the appointment of Vasudevan Rajagopalan as VP-Solutions. In his new role, he will focus on sales and marketing and positioning Emerson as a leader in enabling Business-Critical continuity. He will also overlook the channel business and leverage its strong relationship with its partners for achieving the company's business goals.

Sandeep Nair, MD, Emerson, said, “Rajagopalan has been an integral part of Emerson since its inception in India. He is someone who fully emulates the company's brand values, leadership and principles and we expect his leadership will help company achieve its business growth and new markets like data center, enclosure solution etc.”

Earlier at Emerson, Vasudevan was heading South and North zones and also led the businesses like IT and telecom vertical. He also worked with channel and handled micro product business. He has also worked with Systroncis for two years. He is a graduate engineer in electrical and electronics engineering.
