BANGALORE
FEBRUARY 27, 2007

The Bangalore-based distributor Cyberstar Infocom is all set to take off Lexmark printer movement across the country using their existing 22 office locations for stocking and invoicing.

Emphasizing the new channel strategy Raj Rathi, MD said “Cyberstar is happy to continue the relationship with existing Lexmark regional distributors who have shown interest like Premier Computers-Bangalore, Galaxy Computech in Kolkata, Microart and General Electronics in Mumbai, Dikibi of Pune, Softek in Delhi, Shanti Business Centre, Jaipur and also with Lexmark Diamond Partners like Ankita Electronics in Bangalore, Rose Computers Mumbai and Radha of Cochin.”

Cyberstar is also looking out for exclusive partners for distributing printers and supplies in locations where Lexmark had not appointed any partner earlier. Cyberstar is also keen to tie up with corporate resellers in all the locations with a commitment to protect the account for each of the corporate partners. “We want to make sure that our partners are profitable and hence we would like to give them exclusivity status,” elaborated Raj. Cyberstar would focus on entire range of Lexmark product categories like mono and color laser printers, MFD, AIO, inkjet and supplies with separate product strategy.

Cyberstar confirmed that Lexmark will continue with all its earlier commitments and programs implemented for the Indian market such as LexExpress, onsite service and replacement.
