Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a company into software Digital Rights Management
(DRM) and USB-based authentication solutions, announced its go-to-market
strategy for India. Aladdin set-up it's wholly owned subsidiary in Mumbai,
India, early this year.
As part of the strategy, the primary focus will be to increase the brand
awareness in the segments Aladdin is present in. Aladdin brand already enjoys
credibility in the market through its channel partners. However, having a
presence in India will give an impetus to company's business and help reach out
to a larger audience.
"As more and more business is done on line, there is a strong need to
carry out transactions after proper authentication and in a most secured
manner," says Shailendra Sahasrabudhe, Country Manager, India, for Aladdin
Knowledge Systems. "Most of the organizations that have embraced Internet
for daily activities have to deal with threats coming in from on line
world."
To begin with Aladdin India will focus on BFSI, ITeS, software services and
Government verticals. Aladdin is working closely with renowned partners for new
business opportunities and will continuously educate the Indian market on the
best global practices in on line world.
