Aladdin Knowledge Systems, a company into software Digital Rights Management (DRM) and USB-based authentication solutions, announced its go-to-market strategy for India. Aladdin set-up it's wholly owned subsidiary in Mumbai, India, early this year.

As part of the strategy, the primary focus will be to increase the brand awareness in the segments Aladdin is present in. Aladdin brand already enjoys credibility in the market through its channel partners. However, having a presence in India will give an impetus to company's business and help reach out to a larger audience.

"As more and more business is done on line, there is a strong need to carry out transactions after proper authentication and in a most secured manner," says Shailendra Sahasrabudhe, Country Manager, India, for Aladdin Knowledge Systems. "Most of the organizations that have embraced Internet for daily activities have to deal with threats coming in from on line world."

To begin with Aladdin India will focus on BFSI, ITeS, software services and Government verticals. Aladdin is working closely with renowned partners for new business opportunities and will continuously educate the Indian market on the best global practices in on line world.

"Our presence in India will help us in working closely with the enterprises to understand their requirements and offer the best solutions. We have been present in India for a long time through our partners. We enjoy a good client base and our aim would be to build on the success," added Shailendra.
