Wind River Systems announced that Kontron, suppliers of embedded
computer technology, has joined Wind River's partner program as a strategic
partner.
This partnership will bundle Wind River's Carrier-Grade Linux with
Kontron's next generation of Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA),
MicroTCA and Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) platforms, Wind River said in a

fully integrated, standards-based DSO solutions that are cost effective and

"Integrating Wind River Linux into our next-generation platforms will
enable us to offer customers the future-proof, stable and true carrier-grade
system solution that only Wind River can help us provide," Tom Meyer, director,
