Mumbai-based national distributor, Compuage Infocom has been appointed
by Toshiba to distribute its notebook. Compuage has move Toshiba notebooks
through its networks of 35 offices. According to a statement from Compuage, its
sales team is ready to serve its channel partners in 300 cities and towns.
“After successfully establishing several brands like AMP, APC,
Creative, Odyssey, Numeric and others, Compuage has finally made a foray into PC
business by joining hands with one of the leading brands in the Notebook
business Toshiba,” said a company statement.
According to the company, its stock and sales model, focused approach
on B and C-class markets, its access to more then 5000 partners will provide
Toshiba notebooks the desired thrust in increasing its market share.
Compuage believes that notebook PC market in India is growing day by
day and customers are investing in good quality notebook brands that have good
