Asia Powercom has enhanced its currently portfolio of products offered to the
enterprise segment by adding the Vanguard (VGD)-2000 series of UPS. The new
series of UPS consist of 20KVA and 10KVA products giving customers a choice to
chose from depending on their specific requirements, said an Asia Powercom
statement.
"The advantage of a VGD series of UPS is that it has better input power
factor that draws lesser current, resulting in economic consumption," said Tejas
Sheth, Director, Asia Powercom.
The company also plans to extend this range and launch 30 KVA shortly. "By
effectively expanded our bouquet of offerings we are now in a position to target
large corporates and institutions with our higher range of online UPS range. We
are also set to provide them with tailored solutions and come out with a win-win
proposition for the channel and the customer," added Sheth.
According to the company statement, Powercom Vanguard series is designed to
handle an array of problems and is an ideal solution for workgroup server,
departmental server, enterprise server, Web server and workstation.
The Vanguard series UPS supports flexible use of remote monitoring and
management on networks. It also includes the latest version of Powercom's UPSMON
