Mumbai-based edutainment products distributor Aladdin Multimedia has kicked
off its 10th anniversary celebrations by launching online games and tying up
with cyber cafes for these games. In a move to reach out to the gamers who form
a huge chunk of cyber café clients, Aladdin has launched two action packed
online games, SturmGart and CRT (Crisis Response Team).
“By using our games, cyber cafes can use legal gaming software instead of
opting for pirated ones. This improves the profile of the cyber café, already
at the receiving end of intense police patrolling on security issues and raids
by multinationals for using illegal software,” said Rajiv Warrier, MD, Aladdin
Multimedia.
Aladdin Multimedia has entered the world of online gaming after five
successful years in the offline gaming and edutainment sector. “With these two
games we will attract users who are playing online games and want to play with
friends at cyber cafés or on the net. Also since these games can also be played
via LAN the cyber café offers the perfect place for gamers,” said Warrier.
Aladdin Multimedia will be offering the games at an extremely nominal annual
fee to the cyber cafes, which can be recouped by the cafes from their gamers
within two months flat. “Our games are action packed, suited to the profile of
the young gamer thronging these cafes for their fill of fun,” he added.
Apart from cyber cafes, the games will also be available in retail stores and
is priced at Rs 199 only.
