ASUS India today announced the launch of its Lamborghini notebook in the Indian market.

This is a limited edition model based on the partnership between ASUS and the luxury automobile manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini.

The ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 Notebook Series is the fusion of information and automobile technologies of two companies. Andrew Tsui, managing director, ASUS India, said, “The ASUS Lamborghini notebook captures the true spirit of automobile lovers and technology enthusiasts who are keen to own unparalleled luxury. This limited edition notebook will be a unique offering to notebook owners who prefer to have not just a notebook but carry their style statement.”

The ASUS-Lamborghini VX1 is based on the new Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology platform. The dual-core processing capabilities of the VX1 offers desktop level computing performance such as faster processing and high quality video/ audio enjoyment while enabling high mobility and better productivity with smaller form factor and longer battery life. The 15" VX1, weighing less than most of the 14" notebooks, is a powerful work machine with superior mobility.

The Industrial Design team at ASUS studied the many series of Lamborghini in order to get the most accurate perception of the Lamborghini spirit. Available in both yellow and black, the Lamborghini VX1 adopts the trademark colors of the Lamborghini logo, an ASUS statement said.
