Oracle today announced that it has established the Oracle Retail Center of
Excellence in Bangalore to deliver business value to leading retailers seeking
to improve profitability.
With nearly 200 retail experts, the Oracle Retail Center of Excellence is a
platform for the world's largest, most successful retail organizations to
exchange ideas, develop concepts and showcase scalable, best-of-breed retail
solutions.
The center has global expertise in retail disciplines including
merchandising, planning, optimization, analytics, store operations, supply chain
and enterprise application integration, an Oracle statement said.

and return on investment,” said Jay Bhow, Head, Oracle Retail Center of
Excellence. “We believe that our status as the world's leading retail software

retailers.”

Oracle has generated significant momentum in retail since establishing its
global retail business unit in 2005. Since that time, Oracle has won more than
30 new retail customers and has completed more than 80 deployments of Oracle
