Huawei3Com is all set to further expand its operations in India, both in terms of products as well as geographic expansion. Building on its current partnership with Bangalore-based distributor Cyberstar Infocomm, Huawei3Com would work through a three-prong partnership model where in Cyberstar, its channel partners and Huawei3Com would go to market together for all of Huawei3Com's products. With 25 odd partners who have been identified for distribution of Huawei3Com products, a number of partner road shows and other activities have been lined up to reach out to customers not just in the metros but other tier two and tier three cities and towns as well. According to Raj Rathi, Managing Director, Cyberstar Infocomm Limited “The level of engagement with partners for distribution of Huawei3Com products and solutions is very high and we hope this would help us make the best use of the opportunity here.”

In India, the partnership would target the verticals of BFSI, Education, Government and the IT/ITES sector for Huawei3Com range of products and solutions. To help them to effectively reach out to customers, Cyberstar is looking to sign up with partners who have relevant knowledge and acumen to sell technology products and solutions. From the Huawei3Com end, partners would get regular training and product updates in order to equip them to be able to convince customers effectively on the need to buy.

Cyberstar Infocomm, currently operating out of 18 offices across India, the latest being one at Guwahati, is also looking to increase that number to 25 by the end of the fiscal. “The Huawei3Com partnership is a good opportunity for us to head in this direction. In addition to Huawei3Com products we also have a good branding as regards many other products including those in networking and we would continue to grow in that space. We would, in fact be announcing some partnerships for networking products very soon,” Raj Rathi added.
