Ahmedabad Computer Merchants Association (ACMA) will be conducting its third IT exhibition from November 17 to 19, 2006 at the Ahmedabad Education Society ground. The focus of the exhibition is to enable end-users experience the latest technology in person. “With path-breaking technologies and gadgets hitting the market almost every day, our expo will give user a chance to see all the latest technology under one roof,” said RG Patel, a committee member of ACMA.

Technology giants like ATI and Logitech will be displaying its latest product offerings at the exhibition. According to Patel, participating vendors benefit from being a part of such platforms, wherein it gives them an opportunity to interact with end-user.

“Last year AMD participated in the exhibition and benefited a lot in term of visibility and awareness. AMD was not a familiar brand among end-users, but this exhibition helped the vendor bring that awareness among end-users. As a result, the sales of PCs with AMD processors shot up after the expo,” informed Patel.

This is the third year of the exhibition and altogether 150 stalls will be displayed at the expo. According to Patel, students and home-users, apart from the regular business users are keen to check out the latest technology available in their budget. The expo hopes to provide customers with the much-needed platform for their needs. It will showcase products such as PC, PC peripherals, laptops, consumables, servers, and the latest gaming products.

The organizers expect a footfall of around 2.5 lakh during the three-day long event.

“The special feature of our expo is that we provide total Wi-Fi environment to all the participants with unlimited bandwidth for all the three days of the expo,” informed Rishikesh Patni, President ACMA.

The twelve-member committee is all geared up and already busy in the arrangement of the expo to make it a big success.
