NEW DELHI
SEPTEMBER 30, 2006

Motorola Inc. announced the launch of Motorola P790 portable charger for the Indian consumer, adding an innovative new level of convenience to the mobile experience.

The P790 provides mobile professionals and consumers an easy way to keep their conversations on track by enabling them to easily charge their mobile handsets or Bluetooth headsets using the small, wire-free power unit, a Motorola statement said.

The portable charger can be plugged into the mini-USB port on Motorola phones and headsets for instant power, eliminating the need for charger cables or battery changes.

In addition to providing longer talk-times, the P790 allows users prolonged access to entertaining multimedia features or productivity tools that come with many Motorola handsets. The P790 holds up to two full battery charges for handsets and more than 10 full Bluetooth headset charges.

The P790 Portable Charger has a 1700mAh battery and is compatible with Motorola handsets and accessories that use a mini-USB connector.
