MUMBAI
Hitachi Data Systems, provider of Application Optimized Storage solutions and
a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, today announced the appointment of Rahul
Guha as director for channel development for the India market. Rahul will be
responsible for structuring and executing the overall India Partner Plan.
Rahul has 12 years of experience in the IT industry. As the Director for
Channel Development, he will focus on outlining the partner mix across the
enterprise and mid market segments, building a strong partner family and
ensuring leadership status for Hitachi Data Systems in India.
“We have aggressive goals to meet in the SMB space which makes channels
extremely significant for us. Rahul's appointment is a step in the right
direction in leveraging our extensive resources to the benefit of the company's

Armed with a BE and an MBA, Rahul has worked with Symantec (formerly Veritas)
wherein he was in charge of distribution & SMB channels across India, Sri
Lanka & Bangladesh. Prior to that, he was with Computer Associates as
