California Software Company (Calsoft) has bagged an order to implement its trading and supply chain software solution for Ocean Energy FZE, a Dubai-based oil trading firm.

Ocean Energy required an effective system to ensure controls and to improve productivity. Calsoft's solution would seamlessly integrate trading, risk management and operations transactions and an online information system that is crucial for trading decisions.

Hassan Gozal, vice-president of Ocean Energy, said, “California Software had the best background to provide the solution to suit our business requirements backed by their years of experience in delivering similar solutions.”

Dr JK Nair chief operating officer of California Software said, “This is a breakthrough in the Middle East market for Calsoft where we plan to expand our operations and provide solutions tailored to cater to the region's business community.”
