Progressive Infotech

Progressive Infotech, an independent provider of managed IT infrastructure services has opened a new Remote Infrastructure Management Center (RIMC) equipped with industry proven tools and robust processes. The company has made significant investments in setting up the RIMC at its Noida facility.

This completes Progressive's portfolio in terms of its ability to deliver end-to-end high quality managed services. The company has its own world-class facility in Noida spanning over 20,000 sq. ft. It started the pilot of the RIMC at the end of December 2005 and commercial services have started in May 2006. The company has chosen HP Open View as the platform for the RIMC. With the RIMC in place, the company has created a first of its kind integrated model of onsite as well as remote services.
"Constant migration toward complex and newer technologies makes IT management more complex. There is a growing need for a single partner with multi-vendor expertise and multi-services capability. Our RIMC offers the complete solution to manage IT infrastructure. The tool based management of IT Infrastructure on a 24X7 basis and complying with world standards is the ideal solution for today's businesses," says Prateek Garg, MD and CEO, Progressive Infotech.

"As the workforces become more and more dispersed across geographies and time zones, availability of applications and networks along with 24/7 IT support is become critical to transact business for enterprises. The Progressive RIMC can fulfill customer needs at a time when businesses are increasingly turning to managed services as part of their IT strategies," adds Garg.

Besides, the company is also implementing its plans to extend its footprint into the US and European markets where it has begun offering its offshore RIM services through strategic partnerships.

The RIMC is ITIL compliant and Progressive is also one of the very few players in the IT Infrastructure market to have achieved BS15000 and ISO 9001:2000 quality certification for IT Infrastructure Management Services. It provides 24x7 enterprise help desk, proactive monitoring and management, improved application response time, highest standards of QoS with security, reliability and availability, focus on customer centric service level metrics, guaranteed SLA commitments, root cause visibility and optimal solutions.
