Canon India has rewarded its top-performing channel partners under its 'Wings of Glory' scheme by taking them to Singapore, Malaysia and Bangkok. 'Wings of Glory' is a recognition and incentive program where Canon partners win points on its products and score benefits.

Partners who clocked 777 or more points qualified for the 'International Motivation Program'; while those who scored 444 points and 333 points qualified for the 'Exotic Motivation Program' for two and one persons respectively. The scheme took into account the sales done between August to December 2005 with the cut off date valid as per monthly closing.

As part of the recognition program 15 'Super Achievers' from Canon's channel network across product groups of cameras, printers, copiers, consumables, projectors, went on an 'International Motivation Program' cruising.

Sharing the rationale behind organizing such events, Som Gangopadhyay, Assistant Director-Marketing BIS, Canon India said, "Offsites such as these help Canon in establishing a closer bond with its partners and in understanding their needs better more so, when the partners get the much needed break with their spouse. This dream program for our partners gives them an opportunity to enjoy and earn their 'Wings'.”
