Rashi Peripherals
Rashi Peripherals, one of the top IT distributors in India, has reported a growth of 80% for the year 2005-06 as compared to its previous fiscal. The unaudited results for the 2005-06 fiscal reports a turnover of Rs. 390 crore.
Sharing the results Suresh Pansari MD Rashi Peripherals said, “Rashi Peripherals has been growing consistently over the past couple of years. The year 2005-06 marks a great importance to Rashi as it has achieved one more milestone by growing at the rate of 80%.”
Pansari continued, “Our mission is to make business easier for our channel partners, we want to take Rashi services to the doors of our partners. Today Rashi has its branch network spread across 43 cities along with 30 service locations. Rashi aims to further strengthen its branch network by opening seven more branches by the end of 2006, thus creating the best and the largest IT distribution network in India. We are targeting 100 branches by the end of year 2008.”
Rajesh Goenka, Divisional Head, Rashi Peripherals also added, “Rashi is all charged-up to keep-up with the pace in this era of competition and to grow consistently in the next financial year as well. Today Rashi has gained a definite edge over competition. The credit of Rashi's success goes to channel partners who have always supported the innovative marketing programs that Rashi formulates and comes out from time and again.”
Rashi's efforts have been awarded and acknowledged by various vendors. Rashi was awarded the 'Fastest Growing Distributor' and for 'Outstanding Contribution' by Netgear for the year 2005. It was also awarded as 'Excellent Performance Award' from Sony for the year 2005 and recently HP awarded Rashi as 'Best Upcoming Commercial Distributor for 2005'.
Another feather in its cap was the success of 'Sony Extravaganza' which was held recently in March at Cochin, Pune and Delhi wherein 87 partners were handed 24 carat gold and five super achievers were crowned as Raja's and Maharaja's.
