Sage announced new performance enhancements for its CRM SalesLogix users. According to Sage, “core architecture enhancements allow users to load and work with lists of thousands of customer records within seconds. Enhanced .NET server technology enables thin-client deployment of the SalesLogix Web interface without additional software downloads.” 

The company said in a statement that these and other features are part of the Sage CRM SalesLogix version 6.2.3 performance pack now available from Sage CRM Solutions business partners.

“Our customers need higher performance to address their increasingly complex business processes,” noted Thomas Abraham, general manager for Sage Accpac India. “We constantly seek feedback from customers, partners, and the entire CRM market to drive continuous product enhancement. The performance gains introduced today are an excellent example of our ability to convert this market intelligence into product capabilities that successfully address our customers' requirements.”

Sage CRM SalesLogix Web server enhancements provide for greater user scalability while retaining compatibility with existing installations and customizations. The Web architecture can now support five times more users with a smaller memory footprint, better utilizing existing server hardware.

Sage CRM Solutions business partners specializing in Sage CRM SalesLogix deployment and vertical market customization have found the increased processing performance of virtual server-side cursors to be particularly impressive.

"We have clients who can now search and retrieve lists of over 500,000 customer records in a matter of seconds. Additionally, the Sage CRM SalesLogix performance pack includes database administration enhancements, a new database-independent performance profiler utility and provides new customization controls for graphs, charts, and spreadsheet grid views of customer-related data.
