Kolkata-based Supertron Electronics has tied up with Taiwan's Biostar Microtech Intl, a manufacturer of motherboards. 

Commenting on this alliance, VK Bhandari, CMD of Supertron Electronics said, “We have 12 years of experience in distributing PC components and this alliance is a win-win situation for both the side. Our plan is to position ourselves as a significant player in AMD and Intel motherboard solutions after partnering with Biostar.” VP of Biostar, Chaung, said that Biostar is focusing on India as key emerging market and its tie-up with Supertron will help it entrench itself in the market.
