Buoyed by the positive customer response from the Indian sub-continent, Taiwan-based KYE Systems Corporation is all set to expand its Genius brand of product range here. The company is working with the help of a partnership with Singapore-based Transtek Infoways.

"India has a huge potential when it comes to selling our products. This is certainly one of the priority markets for us. In response to the overwhelming marker response form this region, we are going to introduce our new products like web cameras, digital video recorders, console gaming devices, MP3 players, scanners and TV tuner cards in the Indian market. These products would be launched with the help of Transtek by the end of September 2005," informed, Boris Cheng, OBM Sales Division, Sales Specialist, KYE Systems Corporation.

With its offices in seven locations within India, distribution-focused Transtek is already working closely with storage major Maxtor. The company has recent started working with Genius.

"We have recently started working with Genius. We are already selling mouse and keyboards of the company in India and it is just because of its popularity and demand from the market that we are looking forward to expanding our operations in the Indian region," explained, Rajeev Sood, Director at Transtek.

With an aim to increase its marketing reach as far as selling Genius products are concerned, Transtek is likely to increase its presence in three more cities in the country. "We would be adding 15 to 20 carrying and forwarding (C&F) agents to the existing number by the year-end. Initially we would be targeting A class cities and then slowly would expand to other B and C class cities as the market dynamics demand," Rajeev added.

Based in Taiwan, KYE is an IT products-focused company. It manufactures products like mice, tablets, cameras, keyboards, audio range of products and gaming consoles. The company global operations are supported by its four manufacturing facilities based in China.
